Speaking and judging at GreenShift: Waste & Climate Summit 2026, hosted by Thuvakkam at SRM IST Chennai

On 30 June, I had the pleasure of speaking at the GreenShift: Waste & Climate Summit 2026, organised by Thuvakkam at SRM IST Chennai.

It was a privilege to share the stage with experts in the field.

I also had the opportunity to judge the student paper presentations, and it was inspiring to see the quality of research and ideas emerging from young innovators.

What made the summit stand out was its honesty. From the keynote addresses to the panel discussions, the conversations were practical, candid, and action-oriented. The session before ours on waste management, policy, CSR, and philanthropy sparked some incredibly engaging audience discussions.

During our panel, I spoke about why entrepreneurship is one of the most impactful and rewarding ways to build a career in sustainability, and how technologies like AI, IoT, robotics, and data are transforming traditional waste management into scalable circular economy businesses.

Kudos to the Thuvakkam team for creating a platform that focused on real solutions rather than buzzwords. Looking forward to seeing GreenShift become an even bigger platform for circular economy and climate innovation.
