Deepa Sai works at the intersection of capital, sustainability, and community to build ecosystems grounded in equity and focused on meaningful impact.
As Director at EcoHQ, she extends communications, business, and impact strategy to founders building climate solutions. I also spotlight sustainability innovations—shaping narratives that move people, capital, and policy toward meaningful change.
With a background in psychology, social work, HR, and communications, she brings a multidisciplinary lens to sustainability and inclusive innovation. She is a three-time global fellow in climate and sustainability and has social entrepreneurship and startup consulting certifications with Terra.do, OnePointFive Degree Academy, Climatebase, Xartup, Wadhwani NEN, MCC-MRF’s Idea Booster Lab and Maker Asylum’s SDG School.
Her work spans disability rights, mental health, public health, child rights, substance dependence, waste management, and community development—reflecting a lifelong commitment to equity and intersectional change.
Deepa’s approach is grounded in systems thinking. She supports founders, communities, and movements that are rewriting how capital flows, impact solutions scale, and social progress is sustained.
She advises and strategises for funds, consulting ventures, venture studios, startups, market entry firms, quasi-government entities, and non-profits.
She has been featured in Pushstart, The Good Loop, Good Market and Professional Failures and is also a Catalyst2030 member and a mentor at #OpenDoorClimate. She is also a certified GreenSignature™ DEI Advocate.
Check out her journey as a social worker that led her to the Sustainability industry and current experiences that shape her choices.
She believes the future belongs to those bold enough to imagine it differently and committed enough to build it together.
